Royal Ocean View Beach Resort

the place itself is not so bad, the rooms are quite nice except for the sticky floor. but the food is not so worth it for the price, imo. the cutlery and plates too were not in good shape, some has cracks and were chipped here and there. overall, it is a mid place to stay and if you do have more budget, then i recommend you to stay someplace else. have a nice day ^^

this hotel is actually good with a stunning view. the rooms are comfy and equiped with standard amenities. the staff's service and attitudes was excellent as well. but it's too far from the center so beside the beaches and exquisite view, i think there was nothing else. no restaurants or cafes around. and the internet was terrible during my stay. i would recommend this place for those who wants to escape their routines or a honeymoon destinations. the breakfast was so so as well. also, they allow smoking in the lobby. i think the management need to change this and provide another area for smoking. can't imagine if there are kids waiting in the lobby during check in and people are smoking there. that would be so terrible and unhealthy.

Rooms are depended on the type, our room next to the pool pump room. Feels like sleeping underwater. Pump runs from 06.00 - 22.00. Beautiful & stunning scenery, location quite remote, no phone signal only wifi depended but no problem, the view is way much better than your phone The beach is huge kiddy pool with few junks on the corner. But you can swim or snorkel at the pier. They provide life vest as the water is about 1.5 mtr. Worth the journey from karimun to this place 👍 40 min by motorcycle or rent taxi.

Located at the other side of the ferry terminal, about 30 min driving. There is no Cell phone reception but free wifi available, although weak in some areas. The views and wharf are great but not so clean, a lot of construction debris and trash. Hot water was not running when i was here. There is no elevator. Lots of channel with good receptions on TV.

I will give you “comprehensive evaluation” because its not fair when little mistake make another goes bad just like nothing. Aspect 1. The view/scenery To be honest, the private hotels beach area is “the core of this island”. There were no any scenery or view could compare to this private hotel beach. I will mandatory goes to this hotel because this private beach area hotel because the beautiful is very very very heavenly amazing. My wife even crying because the beauty of this beach. But this aspect sadly make people have “too much expectation” to this hotel, thats why ppl gave bad evaluation because theywere too much expectation, even not realistic expectation againt it. Aspect 2. The access/infrastructure You must REALIZED this hotel is on one of very very remote island in Indonesia. Dude..! This isnt JAVA! This is different island, of course there were so many bad thing about infrastucture and fascility. Dont too much expectation because it has good scenery, because it is in the remote island dude… of course the way to get in is very dark, no light, scary, and not smooth like in bali. Aspect 3. The service Im seeing so many ppl complaining about hotels staff attitude, but people will change, people will evaluate themself.. in fact that when we enter this hotel, the hotel staff now has good attittude, good manner and good service. Thanks to previous evaluation that makes the hotel staffs becomes just like now. Aspect 4. The food To be honest, the food is very standard. Not too bad nor delicious, just standard. The bad is this hotels menues doesnt represent the “heavenly scenery” it self. I hope hotel management add more menues that represent “sea” just like coconut ice, its simple and just one menu, but the coconut has “big meaning” what the beach are. And i know what you make from the ice capuccino dude…..! I know because i already drink this sachet capucino for years.. man… thats ruin your “heavenly view” with capucino sachet. Damn… If you wanted a good coffee you must hire barista or doing research for your coffee. Just dont sell sachet drink in your hotel ok? Your hotel is heavenly beautiful high class.. the resto is ultimately heavenly beautiful, but your food..? You musk learn more about what “proper food and drink serve on your hotel” Aspect 5. Room The room is good, clean and hot-warm-cool shower is good as well. No problem on hotels room. Water is good and no any problem here. Aspect 6. Other fascility The pool is beauty water is clean, not like ppl said. The beach, bridge is clean, there is so many fishes could seen from the bridge. Water is clear and very beautiful. Summary: The “heavenly scenery” from this hotels private beach is making people becomes “over expectation”, theyre forget where “they are” which literally in middle nowhere on remote island on this planet, far from civilization. So DONT THINK THIS IS IN JAKARTA DUDE! Wake up..! Once more i said, “maybe you hate this hotel, but like or not, This Private Hotels Beach is THE CORE OF THIS ISLAND” bear that on your mind..
